Arsenal & Villa getting 22k each
|
at Wembley, I cannot get my head round how unfair and annoying that is. What's the point in Wembley Stadium, when the committed ones that go week in week out will fail to get a ticket.
What annoys me more about this is that the other 30k of these are for corperate and apparently all of these people are 'football people' no they're not compared to the die hard/poor fans. Its ridiculous. If we got to Wembley, and got 22k, some season ticket holders or die hard fans with membership would miss out and you'd see the likes of people from TOWIE who go once every 3 years there, James Corden and all.
Rather we could change back to Millenium Stadium if i'm honest

Outside Wembley? With the 90,000 fans?
Despite losing the FA Cup final was a wonderful day, great to experience and I wouldn't swap being there.
Every fans knows the rules, knows what the final is about and what the allocation is going to be and at the end of the day the fans paying the club the most and the most loyal fans get the tickets.

Simple answer really. Boycott it all together. however fans wont stick together which is why they are taken for a ride season after season.

The 30k is not all Corporate, thousands of that will be tickets given to other member clubs of the FA such as non league clubs. The reality is that these will end up in the hands of fans of whoever reaches the final so what is wrong with that? My dad works for the Met Police FC and they get a few pairs. If anyone wants one (like I did v Liverpool) then they can apply for one and they may get allocated a pair. They then have to pay the cover price for it. I imagine there may be a a Villa fan who works at the met trying to get a ticket but I imagine more Arsenal fans will be floating around. Its not much different to putting them all on general sale.

They both get 22k each
The rest is corporate, which is sold to the fans anyway but for higher cost.

As all clubs in the country are given a number of tickets, I think West Ham normally give their allocation to the closest team i nthe final.
The above may be bollocks if the FA have changed how tickets are allocated.
Was it always like this historically, or did the FA just change it all when more money came in to the game?
Either way it's all a bit silly, but then again football is now for the rich and not the poor, so no surprise.

Why should people get FA Cup Final tickets for Arsenal v Aston Villa for being Chairman of Old Blindschoolonians in the Pudsey & District 3rd Division South?

I've got no problem with the allocations. There's thousands of people who give up their time for football across the country. They should get tickets to the FA cup

cardiff was a cracking weekend, great atmosphere, great position near the bars, great ground.
lucky i went to all our games there.
only shite thing was getting there and back.
Although everyone out their cars singing bubbles by the pay booths on the bridge was a moment not to be forgotten, palace game i think.
as was seeing schemmel tap it out for a throw rather than clear it 60 yards up the pitch.....
we could have, should have won that game...

its not right , it never has been and nothing has changed in my living memory but im sure there is some sort of "unoffical" agreement between the clubs that Arsenal get the bulk of other London clubs allocation and the same applies to Villa with the West Midland clubs , its not ideal but its the best we can hope for .

Holds 90,000 doesn't it? Less than half going to the actual clubs then. In short, a fucking disgrace.

Why can't the FA 'reward' the people behind the scenes with tickets all throughout the year for the England games at Wembley. This really sticks in my throat that genuine fans could miss out on their big day.

Why do we have to suffer the same post every year?
We all know the FA Cup final is the FA's show piece game with kicks going to the FA at all levels.
